American Council on Exercise Certifications

As ACE International Educational Partners for over 18 years, Debi, Austin and their team facilitate an exceptional life-changing experience for course graduates and career opportunities in leisure, hospitality, gyms, sports and lifestyle coaching in the health, wellness, and fitness professions.

This is held over 10-weeks, with 100-hours of formal training and self-directed study time. Classes take place on Mon, Wed, Fri 10.00 – 12.30pm. Course includes the local LMA Fitness Trainer Level 1 Certification, gym membership and shadowing of ACE professionals in personal and group training.

i) 10 weeks with 100 hours of formal training in specific skills for teaching step, dynaband, swiss ball, resistance training and aerobics.
ii) ACE certified PT’s may enrol on the short course; needing to attend Tues and Thurs sessions being already proficient in shared competencies (exercise science, nutrition, screening etc).

Lifestyle Medicine Academy Certifications

A basic, comprehensive local certification over 2 consecutive weekends, 2 weeks of self-directed revision, complimentary gym membership and final examinations on the 4th Saturday morning. The LMA FT also serves as a solid foundation upon which the more advanced ACE program is taught.

Assessing and addressing fundamental abilities for sport is essential to minimize injury risk, optimize training and improve performance. It includes sport-specific functional movement screening and fitness testing.

A weekend course covering mechanics, moves, music, motivation, and medical competencies to teach safe, dynamic, and professional indoor cycling classes.

With over three decades of experience working and teaching in trauma medicine, Dr Austin Jeans empowers first aid responders at any level of expertise from fitness trainers, sports coaches, new mums, child-minders, teachers, game guides, field-side sports medics to paramedics.

Masterclasses & Workshops in Fitness or Health

We offer evidence-based, enjoyable, participant-centred educational sessions. Whether it be “Sizzling Step” (group fitness choreography), “MET RESET” (implementing lifestyle changes to optimize metabolic health) or a fitness / health mini-convention, clients may choose from an extensive list of options and ideas to make any event a resounding success.
